About the founder of Gold Communications

Susannah Gold, founder of Gold Communications, has been in communications and strategic marketing for 20 years. Formerly a journalist for Dow Jones Newswires, Susannah has worked in PR agencies, in-house and on her own.

Susannah has also been a journalist for over 20 years covering the banking, finance, asset management, insurance industries. She is also well versed and quite interested in the world of philanthropy and non-profits.

She attended the George H. Heyman, Jr. Program for Philanthropy and Fundraising at the NYU School of Professional Studies and has a Certificate in Global Philanthropy and has had a number of clients in the space and therefore created the Gold Social division as part of Gold Communications.

When not working for clients, she is a copy editor and contributing writer for a number of publications including Global Finance, a monthly magazine founded in 1987 whose mission is to help corporate leaders, bankers and investors chart the course of global business and finance.

Susannah has a master’s degree in International Affairs from the Paul H. Nitze School of International Affairs (SAIS) of Johns Hopkins University. She earned her undergraduate degree from Colgate University, graduating Phi Beta Kappa, with Magna Cum Laude honors.

In addition to English, Susannah speaks Italian, French and Spanish fluently.
